Bought a 84 323i, thread on here. Found spare headlights + surround in the boot. The old chrome metal sort.
How do I removal the plastic hex bolt thing that holds the light in?
All the other adjusters just unscrewed but fail to see how this one comes out.

Cant grab a picture atm due to not wanting to go out in the snow, stupid scotland :p
Going to try describe it to you.
Pre facelift headlights, 2 of them in a metal holder/surround.
Theres 3 attaching points per light, 2 are big long squarish headlight adjuster which screw in and out.
Now the attaching point on each light is different. 1 is just a twist and push through to free the light. Easy.
The other is a large hex ended white plastic bolt thing, I see no way to remove it.
