Rear leak problem

well familiar story,

Ive the back seat out and ive had the panels out on each side. Right under the back seat, passenger side was wet, drivers side was alright. Both rear footwells are wet and its after making its way to the front footwell on the drivers side also so I'm assuming its made its way to the passenger side too.

Ive had the lining on the inside at the back out for a look at the rear archs and to be honest they dont look like theyre letting in a lot of water if any. They seem dry although the car has been sitting around for 10 days while the diff was being done. Where the arch meets the side of the car on the passenger side looks like a possible candidate although the drivers side looked ok.

Under the seat was wet and the footwells are wet, but the carpet that covers under the seat to the footwells was dry. Had a guy have a good look at the jacking points, bulkhead etc and says they're all good to go.

Poured water into the sunroof drainage channels and it lingers slightly but disappeared. Where the door card meets the window on the drivers side by where the seat belt emerges there was a small drip but nothing that could account for the amount of water thats after getting in. Boot floor is dry all over.

Theres a drainage channel on the rear quarter panel, passenger side, where is this for?

Any ideas from you guys? Suspension arrived last week and Im very reluctant to fit it untill I get this leak sorted.

Any help very very much appreciated with this one................

I had a few bad leaks recently. The one in my boot was down to the drivers side rear inner arch, and a leaking heated rear window. I also had water in my footwells. Passenger side front was due to the jacking point, and drivers side rear was due to the drainage plate in the floorpan behind the drivers seat was perrished. You could also check your opening rear quarter glasses, assuming it's a three door... you can unbolt these to clean up the rubbers as this is a slight possibility. To remove them you can remove the two caps, which will reveal the bolts / screws to release the glass which are located in line with the seat belt, and the rear screw through the glass. door seals could be another problem. Other than that, i'm not really sure mate. Possibly front and rear screens may need re-sealing.

@Toptints, the drainage plate behind the drivers seat was perished, how bad was it, have you any pictures? How would it look...

Checked all seals with a buddy there, theres a leak in the passenger door window seal which is letting in water so Ive that to seal up. Water is running in down the inside of the door and onto the carpet.

Rear archs dont seem to be letting in water and the boot is'nt wet.

The drainage outlet on the inner rear quarter panel drivers side doesnt seem to be clearing any water away.... the question is, where does the water clear to this point from?

Sunroof seems to be draining fine to the front, unsure about the rear.

@Martinaston, occasionally, 90% of the time its parked on the flat.

So far ive the passenger window seal letting water in to the passenger footwell, and possibly the drainage plate behind the drivers seat for that side.

Under the rear seat was wet in one point and one point only, passenger side close to the centre about where the two seat belt clips are... opinions?

perished to the point i could see the floor through it But just have a feel around. The drainage disk you are looking for is slightly smaller than i Compact disk i reckon. I cut the old one out and stuck some dynamat over where it should be then plasteres it in seam sealer all underneath.
