as for kit cars, it it only me who thinks they are for weirdos and sad men who aspire to nothing but failure ?
the only kit cars with having are cobras GT40's or a really well sorted lotus seven (but whats the point when caterham build them)

^^ Exactly. Kit cars are only worth it if they are performance specials, Yet to see anything based on a production car that is worth the trouble and doesn't look awful.
For the price of that you could get a genuine 60s car.
