Hello.
Could not find previous post about my issues, hope to find some input here..
Basically, i have an e30 Touring 1991 with an m52b28 swap.
no idea where electronics are at because not done by me (good start right..)
I added M50 manifold / itg intake
ECU seems to run a tuned map for the m52b28 swap, but with m3 cams and a m50 manifold (yellow sticker on ECU reading ''build'' and 270hp)
I have swapped the gauge in the dial set and have an adaptor sensor to read my temp reading. not very functional yet as loose conntector and I dont have a soldering kit (noob with no tool)
ISSUE 1:
I had an issue where the brake pedal bottoms out before i feel I am applying a decent amount of brake force.
I had the servo changed (Reading the swap posts it seems this is a normal requirment)
I also have put vented ECB disks and yellow stuff pads...
However that did not solve problem!
the car is fitted with ABS and 18'' alloy.
One problem could be that bigger wheels mean the brakes are not capable of locking wheels but i SERIOUSLY doubt it. this is my garage's view.
Another is that there is an air bubble in the abs system
But really I feel I am simply lacking brake pressure or brake travel or that the pads are not close enough to disks?
---------
Other issue is my REVS do not drop when changing gear.
They hold and take a good 2-3 seconds to drop to the next level, unless i rev to 6,000rpm where the engine friction slows engine down.
#1 is this because over fueling ?
#2 is my throttle not returning(spring/cable issue)?
it sounds like the butterfly flaps back right away when I listen with engine off, but that could be hindered by negative suction pressure in engine (although I would have thought that flaps it shut!
Thank you for reading - any input welcome.
Very hard to find garage that will look at car.
Because of e30 - e36 chassi engine nobody would even order / try and fit a new throttle cable...
rather desperate I spent 3.5k getting the car and now another 3-4k getting wheels and getting idiot garagists trying to fix it as well.....
Im based in Coventry.

"Bigger wheels mean the brakes are not capable of locking wheels". Mmmm. I'd keep away from that garage!

Brake issue is most likely air in the system, you have new disc's and pads, calipers are self adjusting so the pads will be in the right position, air can compress, brake fluid doesn't, so extra pedal travel is you trying to compress air, give the system a good bleed stating at the rear brakes 1st, check up on ABS, from memory there is a caution needed when bleeding, maybe not using a power bleeder or something, link below, cheers.

The brake issues will be a bodged servo swap, I've seen this plenty of times and you should get it inspected by somebody that knows what they are doing asap, your car sounds dangerous.
Send me a pm if you want me to have a look at the car, I'm only 20 miles north of birmingham
