I am doing a m20 325 conversion and wanted to know a few things if anyone can help?

1. The engine came out a 1990 car Do i have to find a gearbox around the same year or can i use any m20 gearbox no matter what the year is?

2. Same as above but with diff

3. If car had a 3 part exhaust system can i just buy a 2 part and it will just fit ok?

Thanks

Any M20 gearbox, with matching gear linkage and prop.
Diffs. come in small case and medium case, and of course, with differing ratios, but all are physically interchangeable.
There may be a difference in the manifold to downpipe flanges, but with a matching manifold, the two piece will definitely fit.
