yep them things are good,i had one years ago.
I also made one out of 5mm hardend steel,it was heavy as fu*k.I stopped using it when i was removing it from the steering wheel one day and i opened the arm up and hit the windscreen and smashed it

It was bullet proof, shame the windscreen wasn't.Also the arm was too long hence twatting the screen

Cool :) Nightmare about the screen! Seen loads of other stuff (read: CRAP!) The disclock is the only thing that I have heard people recommend in this field.

Ԛ£69.99 (Halfrouds have got Ԛ£10 off atm), but to be honest I would have paid Ԛ£100+ if the car stays where it should

A garage would look a bit odd in the road infront of the house!

You know they come in silver aswell.

I had one on my first M5 and the one day I left it off it got broken into and the scum nearly got away with the car if it wasnt for some bloke stopping them.

Very big deterent. Big and bulky so can be a PITA but you do get used to it.

Mine lives in the passenger footwell when its not on the steering wheel.

Good thinking there Andy, Bristol isn't the nicest place to keep cars :(

Challenged a workman today who had an unusual interest in my convertible, though it turns out he's got 2 E30 convertibles himself (which he showed me on his phone) and was admiring mine

He hadn't heard of the site so I gave him a flyer :)

garage gives theives time to "work" on the car with out being spoted!!
once i caught scum a going aftert one of the cars, i chased down the street. middle of feb, 3am, freezing cold and raining and me chasing the theiving scum down the road in my boxers bare foot for half a mile !! (his mates ran off in the opposite direction!)

caught him, he swung at me with a crow bar, that was his biggest mistake. i got it off him, and put the cunt in an arm lock and draged him back toward my house. Beat the shit out of him till the police turned up and they slameed him in the back of the meat wagon!!
he complained about me and the "assult" copper said well you fucking deserve it! NICE HEY!! ( i was a smart lad and didnt put a mark on his face, jst brused the shit out of his ribs, stomach and kicked him in the nuts a few times, not visable assult and charges cant be brought forward and also as there were no witneses!!! winkeye

Good man Kos, reminds me of a friend of a friend in South africa, two scum broke in and attemted to rob him while he slept, next thing the one of the guys knows he is tied up and tortured for 6 hrs, before the said friend called the police to report the break in winkeye

Its sad but true, like the scum you caught that tried reporting you for harming him, that in this country it seams like the criminal has more rights than the victim, how the fook does that work?

Glad you got a decent Police guy that understood.

now thats not something you see or hear of from a car enthusiast point of view, but its true in this case, they were spot on.
as they drove away they flew over the speed bumps with him flying around in the back of the wagon unable to hold on or ballance as his hans were cuffed, no doubt he got a few more bruises

any way, the courts gave him a Ԛ£200 fine, it cost Ԛ£500 to fix the damage they made!! SO A KICKING WAS WELL DESERVED AS THE "LEGAL SYSTEM FAILED" IMO

i have got the autolok equivalent of the disklok, bit tricky to put on but tests on various websites say that 5 mins of aggressive attack to the device still couldnt get the thing off!! costs about 60 quid these days, drill resistent, chisel, hammer etc

i swear by it, when it isnt on the wheel its in the footwell, locks either side of the centre spoke of my steering wheel so even if they saw through the wheel they still arent getting it off!!

Image

i still believe in givin theivng twats a kicking, police are crap at sortin stuff like that out most of the time, seen guys attempting to get into cars and have gone and confronted them, if they are doin that car one day they could be doing my car next so i give them a kicking and hope it teaches them a lesson!!
faster faster i wanna go faster!!!

Thieves have been about since before biblical times mate. It's a fucker but it's human nature.

Doesn't make it right of course but until we all live in anarchic bliss, it's the way it is :)

Good one Andy mate. Hope you keep her safe. Worst part is they would probably nick it and write the thing off 5mins later.

Cotty I have an M-Tec 1 wheel mate which measures 39cm across. They say the small disc lock does upto 39 cm. when I tried it it fits perfectly (about 1 cm bigger than the wheel itself so it floats nicely as it should :) )

Cheers just had a look on Halfords site and it says 35-39cm so it will fit fine. Might be my next purchase if I have any left after the MOT & service .

Silver one will match the car as well :D

Deffinatly a good investment, I got pulled over the other day by an unmarked fuzz car, they were really sound, and I asked what they thought of the disc lock, he said it was the best on the market and that obviously I loved my car :D

I used to have one of those locks, I bought it when I worked in Halfords, we had the test videos for all the different units we sold and that was the only one worth buying.
Ive got a removable steering wheel on the cab though.
