E30 Sport opinions
Moderator: martauto
I've been fortunate recently to get my hands on another 325i Sport which has never been messed with and has belonged to the same owners for the last 26 years! I've had many e30's over the years and done various things to them but because this one is so nice i'm concerned about doing anything to it to ruin its originality. What are your thoughts its original down to the stereo, window stickers and key fobs! Would it harm future values if i were to add certain options or should i keep it to the original spec sheet? Thanks in advance

As long as you can reverse it when you want to sell it, crack on. That's my rule with any mods as the strongest money in the future will be for the original ones.

Adding original Bmw e30 spec upgrades that improve the car , that were not in original spec sheet ,won't do any harm , like cruise control, obc, and whatever else , like above can be removed if need be
Money's better spent on really ship shaping up the car and getting it perfect and future proof, than any non original mods and going right over everything

Depends on mileage, number of owners etc. Brett. If its a low owner, low mileage car with excellent history then I'd say do not touch a thing. Leave it exactly as it is.
If its a multiple owned, leggy car with a few issues, then crack on with genuine options but no silly wheels, exhausts etc.

Purple tag rack is a great addition
Your a bad influence Dan!
The car has done 106000 and like i say the same couple have owned it for a long time so i guess i should keep it as it is. Dan will be going over the whole car once funds allow but to be honest i think it just needs an inspection 2 and a cambelt.
Thanks for the input.

Surprises me that he is banned, yet comes on at will to create accounts and is left to it.
I don't mind Pony IN SMALL DOSES, but allowing him back just makes a mockery of the system...
*his posts are soooo obvious!

Sorry Brian, my misunderstanding - I thought he had been allowed back for one hour!

Keep it original! Don't play with it simply due to the minimal owners, should fetch a good amount in the near future IMO
