i had Azev a 17" 7.5j on my tech 2 convertible without problem, if you have 9.5j on the rear you will need to roll your arches and maybe flare them to tuck them in.

Crazy what size tyres do you recommend on the back?
I don't really like the stretched look?
Thanks

One last question. . Do you think its better to actually cut off the arch lip and then flare?

if you cut the arch of it will become weak and will also rust as the bare mental will be exposed, its best to roll the arch so its tucked in.

You will need a spacer on the front if the alloy is ET40, it will hit the strut!

Are the wheels ET40 front and back?
If so, front spacer about 15-20mm and rear spacer about 10-15mm depending on tyre size and how much the car is lowered by.

Rears are et40, so I may need spacers at the back only?
