Hello,

I just install ngkbpr6es to my e30 325i this is the result.

Bosch rpm 600 vs ngk 500

Bosch easy to start vs ngk need a little bit time to start

Bosch feel powerful vs ngk less power

Ngk is smoother than bosch

Ngk feel rpm responsive but less power.

I think this is what I feel and tomorrow will try long run.

Thank you
Markus

If you can feel that much difference in new plugs (both bosch and NGK) then one set must be wrong and not suited to your car.
They only spark and either hot or cold (strong or weak)

If you've just changed a set of old plugs for new then obviously you will see a difference same brand or not.

There should be no change in the idle speed with the NGK plugs vs bosch.

If there seems to be a performance change other than smoother running with the NGK plugs then something is not right.

Is you ICV clean and working ok?
What do you base the loss of power on?
Are the plugs gapped correctly? (0.8mm off the top of my head).

All spark plugs bosch and ngk is brand new.

While I compare the bosch is 2 mm longer than ngk in the front so I think it move inside deeper than ngk.

Icv is good clean and it behave differently only just I change the bosch.with ngk.

I'm not dinoed but I can feel ngk is smoother and freely but I feel bosch is more powerful.

those NGK are 1 step colder plug than the bosch plugs, neither are probably correct. the bosch look like the non resistor type which can create havoc with electronics also they have a shorter projection than what bosch recommends (D vs L is 2mm shorter yet you say they are longer)

NGK low comp engine BPR5ES or ZGR5A
Bosch low comp engine W8LCR sometimes listed as WR8LC

the bosch W8LCR project 2mm further out than the equivalent NGK but many are still happy running with NGK

NGK high comp engine BPR6ES the equivalent and maybe better would be bosch WR7LC as the 2mm longer projection is closer to the middle of the combustion chamber

personally i would go for a NGK plug over bosch every day of the week though looking at the codes ZGR6A or equiv would be better than BPR6ES

what engine do you have exactly and any modifications?
