Okay.... Prepare yourselves.....

The countdown has begun!! 2 weeks till fit day.

1) I will be running m52 block and m52 gearbox. The wiki seems to think i'll need an M20 gearbox crossmember. I can see this being true but ive hunted ebay high and low so before i start begging for one i thought i'd double check....

2) Clio Master cylinders. I know i need the big metal black circle bit that does the squishy, but can i rob my little paint stripper reservoir from my e30 318i AUTO or do i need a clio one too? and obviously a non abs one or does it not care?

Asking stupid questions since 92.

Standard cross member as your gearbox angle will match you engine angle.

Only two versions of E30 gearbox crossmembers - auto or manual. As said above, you gearbox is level, so a standard manual one will fit. If you use a gearbox that sits at an angle, you will need to use a modified manual crossmember.
Servo and master cylinder are two different items. You need a Clio servo, used with an E30 master cylinder. M/C can be ABS or non ABS, but an ABS one may need a tee piece to split the lines to the front hubs.

Thanks guys!!!

Ill make a build thread when I get all the pictures together and launch it up somewhere when its done!

Time to go hunt me a manual Crossmember out!

Just got to make sure my shopping list is absolutely all ticked off before i start stripping the M40 out and render it useless for a while!
