Can I fit a 7 series brake servo? I already have a 7 series master cylinder and could do with a bit more assistance.

I done it cause it gives a fimer pedal. But I do find it a bit hard to get the full power out of the brakes tho. It feels like the seat is twisting with how much pressure is needed sometimes.

No idea about the servo I'm afraid, but could you tell me which master cylinder you've used?
I did a bit of searching the other day but everything I found suggested that the 750i M/C was only suitably as a bolt on replacement for the M3 and not the other cars
You've got the Wilwood kit haven't you Chu?
I'm using the standard M/C at the moment and the pedal goes bloody miles!
It's nice and firm when the brakes do bite, but it's a looooong way down!
Cheers!

It's a 25mm special item made for the non M3 E30. A copy of the 750i M/C but with the correct holes for the pipes, which would be different on the 750i model. I think it cost me Ԛ£130+taxes from the U.S.
The M3 M/C is 23mm and E30 21ish.
Yeah I got the Willwood kit, but like I said the pedal is abit too hard to push. It's like the engine is off all the time and brakes and getting no assistance from the servo.

Standard E34 750i master cylinder is a direct bolt on swap for a regular E30. Pipe fittings etc are all the same.chu346 wrote:It's a 25mm special item made for the non M3 E30. It's the M3 that has the different sized pipe fittings.
