Hi

Can any body tell me where the engine number is stamped on an E30 325i

apart from the obvious vin plate & v5

i know its on the block somewhere but can for the life of me find it.

Right down the bottom to the left of the dipstick tube.
There is NO nucleus.

It on the intake side, on this picture under the purple strap (righthand one, you can just make out the no 2 at the begining):
