I need to make a cradel with a 20° 'twist' in it.I have plenty of cradels but not a b25
I know I could buy one and try twisting it and run the risk of cracking it,I'm welder by trade an quite easily be able to tig a broken one together at the right angle.
Can anyone tell me the length of one from end to end of one?

Mine is cut and welded gear selector and linkage, and no problem as long it done properly.
The problem is you should welding it in good angle and size so it will give you precise gearing.
I have not measure mine while cut but about 5 cm for alumunium and nearly 4 cm.for the metal. Mine is taken from m40 318i g240
