Seen this pop up local to me on Sunday and just had to buy it. My tech 2 sport is back in the body shop and i have just lost the full summer in it due to the Restoration its under going.

Bought this to use its pretty much original and drives like a dream i will use this for the next few months few little changes and niggles to sort out but nothing major.

After a full standard exhaust system if anybody has a link for a brand new system.

Hope yous like its my first tech 1

Barry have you got any idea on the price or a link to get the part numbers i will try but i don't want to be paying a fortune for the exhaust not trying to be cheap. Just think it will be expensive

Cheers for the offer its a standard system that's on just with a after market back box fitted.

Think i will just buy a standard back box i would of replaced the full system but a standard box will sit better and look better in my eyes.

Jim what are you going on about i was stating my car has a standard system on it and a aftermarket backbox that doesn't sit correct.

I wanted a brand new system for the car not a second hand one.

I just wanted the car to look original the car at the min has a standard exhaust with a aftermarket bigger back box that doesn't sit or look right in my eyes.

I would have fitted a brand new full system if not crazy money. Or i could Just take the back box off now and fit a new rear standard looking back box.

My tech 2 is btb manifold and fritz bizz exhaust i just want the tech 1 to look original as its nearly original now just a few changes to be made.

will upload some pics of the fitting of the exhaust in morning

A new standard looking back box for £60 will be some bosal or such like cheap tat that will not last and often not sound right either.

The Eberspacher rear box and original BMW centre and down pipes that pete are good value at £150 and Eberspacher is an OEM brand.

My exhaust is original except the back back box so paying 150 quid off peter i will only be putting a second hand back box on as i already have the rest of the parts fitted on my car and are the same.

As for buying a second hand exhaust and getting it powder coated and fitting rear tail pipes that's way too much hassle.

A new standard looking silencer will do and save loads of hassle.

Lets just forget the exhaust ever got mentioned

My rear box is all good, had it done when it was new before it got fitted about 4/5 years ago

My friend has had his centre and rear box done on his e24 and that's still good after 5/6 years
