Hi not been here for a while I'm looking for some information on the car I'm selling. Right here's the story it's a E plate 325i in white non sunroof model coupe. I've been e mailed by a few prospective buyers informing me that they never made am tec 2 on a E plate my car is full M tec 2,I was told by the previous owner when I bought it that the original owner of the car ordered a sport but was sent a 325i so was sent to bmw and converted to a sport.....but I have now found out that a sport never came out till F 89 ,mine is a October 87 car ....so we done some detective work .....we spoke to bmw in Ipswich where car was purchased new.....they searched the car on the system and I was told that the car left the dealership with every sport extra available air con ,heated mirrors ,heated screens, roller blind on back shelf.silver leather sport interior, full sport suspension and brakes, full spot body kit, sport steering wheel and geek on,slip differential and a extra aluminium petrol tank in the boot...they have emailed me all the information so I printed it all off to go with the car .i have a ton of paperwork, every mot from new and reeks of receipts etc original handbooks and both keys etc .....I'm just wondering if anyone can shed any light on this car it could maybe be the only E plate tec 2 made I been told etc .....any input will be appreciated

The "tech 2" body kit was available on any E30 from September '87 on, as were any of the other extras you list - you just had to tick the box, and pay the extra money.
I don't know exactly when BMW had the marketing idea of introducing a 2 door 'Sport' 325i, with a selection of pre ticked option boxes, but any 325i produced before this would not be a Sport, even if of identical spec., because the model didn't exist.
The one item that seems to be almost unique to the Sport is the black headlining. Does yours have this?

If this is turning into a "E30 parts for sale thread", please start a thread in the appropriate forum, making sure you comply with the rules in the sticky at the top of that forum.
If this is such a rarity why break itjonzy71 wrote:The car is not a ringer I have a massive folder of history ..every mot from new tonnes of receipts original bill of sale ......

I looked at this car and it was rotten, had a red front panel and wasnt in a good way. It also not a sport on v5. It looked pretty but shame it wasnt tidy elsewhere. Owner told me no less than £4500
Im pretty sure it is the one on facebook and ebay from Wales. I dont know what the situation or result is with the sport conundrum though.
