May have been a photoshop? I've never seen a genuine one, but there have been a few home made efforts, I know Si316 tried, but don't think he was happy with the finished product.

I saw the car on the front of performance BMW mag and the end of last year, it looked very OEM.Simon wrote:May have been a photoshop? I've never seen a genuine one, but there have been a few home made efforts, I know Si316 tried, but don't think he was happy with the finished product.

Hmmm not to fussed about the grill but what i want for my drivers side grill is the hole still to be where the main fog lamp is but the dip beam headlight to become a hybrid and have the full beam in built...
...just so that i can get even more air over my intercooler.

Yeah I like it in the way that it looks cool but I wouldn't have it if you know what I mean.

Could you not wire in some VW Golf lights from their single conversion?Jon_Bmw wrote:Hmmm not to fussed about the grill but what i want for my drivers side grill is the hole still to be where the main fog lamp is but the dip beam headlight to become a hybrid and have the full beam in built...

that style should stay with the golf imho
and even the golf looked better with the quad lights... gives it a meaner look

rubbish, all golfs look better with the single headlamp conversion and an eyebrow spoiler, and if you can afford it, the 3 slat grille.
I think that E30 looks proper

I prefer the Rallye headlight on the Mk II golf myself.

Exactly right! the quad lamp lip spoilers look wrong. Only beaten by simons suggestion of the rallye conversion, no jetta light wrongness mind you.E30BeemerLad wrote:rubbish, all golfs look better with the single headlamp conversion and an eyebrow spoiler, and if you can afford it, the 3 slat grille.
I may have to see if the golf headlight design can be retro fitted if I end up keeping it.
