help alternator not charging!!

Meant to be going Germany tomorrow, battery lights on alternators not charging, bought a new one, but that's the same,
Belts tight
Terminals are tight,
Connections seem fine,

Checked the ground, from engine to body,

Not sure what else to check...

Pulled the engine out to change clutch etc, basically I have a prefacelift m20b25 engine, converted to motronic 1,3 the starter has the thick cable on the outside, other thin one to the left and small green and black on this stud as well, and there is another cable going to the bottom spade terminal,

There is a spade terminal at the top but iirc there was nothing connected to this, and.it shows,

There is 1.5v coming off the blue wire on the alternator
0.3 off the main black.wire which links the starter to the alternator

BOTH wires to the outer large terminal!

Asked another guy ran a wire straight to the junction box at the front, to the alternator, it did the trick, didn't want to mess anything thought the other wire goes to the left terminal,

Now have another problem it was working fine yesterday, however now it won't start at all, it starts but as soon as you touch the throttle it dies,

Managed to get it started, after some time,left it idling for a bit then opened the throttle it was fine all the way, the cps sensor has a small break by the neck, could it be this? Fuel pump.is fresh, vdo one, plugs are fine, new.dizzy cap, rotor arm and coil pack,
