How do prices work out if you had the 4 identical cars
Cab
Tour
More
Cope
Don't get fidgety now maybe you can't get all the same options on all the models but I hope you get the spirit of it. Lol
Is it preference or demand or the parkers guide that sets the price
Thanks

You've got the wrong E30 then nobby, so your wife says

X5 V8 for thrills, CRV for chills, Range Rover P38 V8 for sooooo much aggravation...

Engine size/ model is a big determiner of value. A 325 (factory, NOT 325 that was a 318 !) of anything is worth much more than its lesser engined equivalent . 318is are obviously a whole different ball game but still less sought after and less valuable than an equivalent 325. Four doors are the least sought after . People usually only buy them because they can't afford one of the other infinitely more desirable body styles. The harsh reality is, they really are only suitable for use as parts donors

lower the roof and raise the price.
the cabriolets in 6 cylinder sub 50k miles are already the highest priced non M3 E30's.
followed by 325i motorsports at specialist dealers/ euro car specialists.
oddly the 325i sports seem to do better in a straight ebay auction than the best 325i cabs out there.
metallic with full leather and original condition.
id still say 325i cabs , 325i sports 2 doors, 325i tourings and limping along to the breakers in far last place a 325i 4 door.
i suspect autos will be worth more than manuals in the end, look at falling sales of manuals in the luxury sector, virtually disapeared in premium german motors now.

A 325 sport is much more saleable / valuable than an equivalent non motorsport convertible . I have bought loads of running driving saveable 325 convertible for low hundreds, albeit, not recently
I have NEVER found an equivalent Sport for that little.
The main thing that will help the value of decent nice convertibles is that there are virtually none. Most have been slammed/iced/Tech 2'd / f000ked
Nice people with money have no interest in scrap like that, except Gert

Baurs seem to be bottom of the pile along with quattroportes at the moment, I hope it stays that way until I get a chance to scratch that particular itch

Yous lot are bonkers, Dizzy rascal ghetto chic bonkers.
I like the saying the lower the roof the higher the price.
Not being bias but I have a a baur and I think that they might be the dark horse in the race
as I remember slagging them and no one liked them so I don't think there be many left of the few there was and as you get older you start to like olives.

just interested, what is the most a genuine 325i sport has been up for sale for?. i did see one priced at nearly 20 grand. there have been super low mileage 325i / motorsport convertibles for more than 20 grand. so which model has actually sold for the most?. 2 door or convertible?

I couldn't tell you about the prices anymore.
I think people pay what they like be it cheap as chips or mortgage prices,
That's why I was asking coz other than stating the obvious like showroom condition prices can very so much.
Mines targa too
