Aerial repair

I opened my electric aerial today to see why it stopped working and the long plastic thooted thingy that goes thru the gears has snapped.

Any known replacement mast for the Bosch club matic II
7 691 240 671 ? It must be a common problem... I see a few masts on ebay but noe for that model. Just wondering if the Hirschmaan antenna is the same really, I could use one of those masts...

I just put a hirschman 2050 in mine it's smooth and quite and it's worth every penny so far.
I got the black mask and there's chrome as well.
£80 delivered on flebay.

its worth opening the antenna motor to see what the problem is before spending too much money

Aye, but remember how it all goes together in case you fix it. It's a greasy mess in there, make sure to grease it up again before putting it back together again.

Sorry been busy.
Hirschman 2050 is for our cars.
I was told it's what Bmw use and it's you can disassemble it and replace parts.
I think the hirschman mast JF008 left is a part that goes in the 2050.
Don't take it as gospel as haven't had to go down that road yet and dint expect to for at least 10 years.
Any here's what it look like fitted.
