Engine choice for my track car

The biggest issues are to do with drivability, throttle response, power curve and strangely diagnostics. He bought a brand new engine on a pallet with loom and ecu, but from day one it's never met the expectations, it doesn't seem to be a refined bottom end, sure it might show nice peak powers, but it's not proven to be a good match for the e30 chassis.

This customer bought from me a complete DSC kit and loved it so much he now wants an engine that plugs in to it. (The LS6 was a problem for a long time before the DSC).

I've just supplied a complete SMG M3 as a donor to a customer who has an LS6 in his car. He hates it so much that it's being replaced by an S54 a˜­a˜‚

Maybe he needs to get it set up properly ? by somebody who know what they are doing , as he is OBVIOUSLY a bit of a speshtard ! FACT !

My mate has just bought an S54 for £1500, we've got a garage full of scrap and a new roll of mig wire to get it sorted

Now there's so many online instructions available you can try your hand at the more complicated conversions a˜†

The side on which the driver sits doesn't have anywhere near as much bearing on the final power output as the electronics do. Many people can fit an engine and get it running, only a very few can actually realise the potential.

ie being able to actually drive it, handle the power of the car is the biggest hurdle!

a‘†aa»lool, True, but thats the fun bit, the idea when you build it is thats its a well balanced package making it a pleasure to drive in all situations,( well thats my take on modified turdz)!
