Hi all,
Any help would be much appreciated.
The situation is:
I have purchased a new centre pipe and back box (exactly as those I the links below)

I took it to the garage and the guy there has put the centre pipe on but has said the back box isn't for my car. Is this correct? If so which would be the correct box.[/img]

Mines a 4 door, it does seem to sit a few inches out. I was thinking maybe they just need a bit cutting off it and should just fit snug then?

No such thing as an E30 coupe - just two door and four door saloons, and they are identical underneath, so no difference in exhaust fitment.
If anything needs cutting, then it is incorrectly specified, or incorrectly fitted.

Hi Brianmooore, Thanks for the information. Should one of the pipes get expanded and have it fit into the other pipe?

Thanks for the input Willnz, guess I'll just have to take it to somewhere that can expand and fit it for me then.
Yeah I just didn't understand how it couldn't be the correct part because it looks the same as what came off the car except this one wasn't rusted all over lol.

I'd suggest expanding the back pipe to fit over centre pipe. I'm going to visit a few places tomorrow if they're open to get some quotes, I'll keep you updated with prices etc if you want.

Don't these use some sort of clamping sleeve?
