Anyone run these tyres on their e30?

Do they fit ok without any rubbing when on the standard BBS wheels? I've got Gaz gold coilovers on the front and so running a 20mm spacer, and a bit worried about the tyre rubbing if I went with 225 width rather than 205.

Thanks

Not exactly the same but I've fitted 225 45 R16 R888s on Hartge wheels. I've yet to use them in anger but there appears to be no rubbing issues. I have only got 5mm spacers on mine though.

Might be a bit wide for a 7j rim.

Exactly.

Assuming we're talking about the standard 15" BBS, then 205 width is more than enough.

225 would be good for a 7.5J rim, but since the E30 15" BBS are only 7J, then there's no point of going wider.

This could also explain your rubbing issues...If you want a low profile tyre on those 15's, then 205/50/15 should be good.
