Well after a year or so of being E30less a local car Ive had my eyes on for many years was put up for sale!
For past 15 years Ive driven by the said turd peeping at me from inside an occasionally open garage, not knowing what state it was in, thinking one day I will stop and have a word with the owner!
Its a 3 owner 325i se Manual, 100K on clock, History wise its fully stamped upto 1998 @ 80k when the current owner bought it from his son in law, Unfortunately for me that's where the service history stops as the old boy has always had it done at same garage through a friend, Luckily for me though every Mot from 1996 is with the car! 20k in last 17 years of ownership and stored in a bone dry carpeted garage! I'm amazed at how a garage has saved it!
Don't get me wrong its not 100% rust free but its pretty nice! Paint work is original too with original dealer plates! Cant wait to clean it up and see if its as good as I think it is!
Few pictures taken on my rubbish Nokia Lumia so will add better ones when I get it out of the shed!

Went and had a look at it for first time without it being raining, had a poke underneath and its strong, had front jack plates welded at some point, Looking forward to cleaning it up and hopefully not finding too many nasty surprises but flat out at work and rubbish weather is meaning it is staying stashed in the shed!
Drives really well and being my first proper E30 I'm surprised how spritely it is, was expecting nothing special acceleration wise but its ok, suppose compared to my Touareg a pushbike would seem quick!

Few pictures in dry but dirty!

Gave it an hour of cleaning and need a few more to make it as mint as I would like.
Things that I need to sort are new front fog, I have the unit but glass is smashed, are replacement glass parts available or easier to just change whole unit.
Rust is on inside edge of the wings and easily sorted before it spreads and becomes visible.
Need a driver side door card at some point as little split on the arm holder part!
Rear Spoiler needs paint too!
Other than that its a dream come true for me, I even like the look of the original 4 spoke poverty spec steering wheel!
Being a picture whore at minute sorry!

I don't own the farm, its my dads house in background who only works on farm! So unfortunately never going to be rich :(
There was a four door E30 for sale on ebay a year or so ago which was in Boston with VAV on plate, don't think it was a 325 though!

What should I tell the insurance company its worth :D
