Frank Sytner has to be in the running for the "dramatic" title.

Roberto Ravaglia followed by Jonny Cecotto. There were other successful drivers but they were the top two and mainly drove for the BMW works schnitzer team.

Value depends on several factors such as how successful, who drove it and like anything what condition it's in.

BMW Motorsport had three works team, schnitzer, Linder and zakspeed. It's those cars that were in the famous white with M stripe and warstiner sponsor livery. Some of these cars were retained by their respective teams, some were sold on to cary on competing with other teams and some have ended up in private collections.

I saw on FB a while back, one guy in Scandinavia bought a race M3 shell. As they took the old paint of they discovered it was one on the Linder Jagermeister cars

That would have been a '91 or '92 season 2.5 DTM car iirc.

In the Sytner BMW Nottigham, there is or was a stickered up touring car, or what I believe was a touring car. IIRC when I looked round it I'm pretty sure it didn't have big brakes or centre lock wheels. It also had Frank Sytner stickers in the window.

May have been a group N car as they had to retain Standard discs and calipers and 15" wheels.

That's what I assumed, I wasn't 100% on Group N regs. I wouldn't of minded sticking my head underneath but I'd of probably got thrown out the showroom.

I'm not sure if it's still there, last time I drove past they was returning. Unless it's popped up at another Sytner branch?
