Female messed with wires. No radio, Rev counter, interior...

... lights.
These two wires are located at the top of the glove box. Mine is out at the minute and these two wires are exposed, Not sure where they are from, or where they go to. They don't look like they should join and I bascially have no idea what they are.
Either way, they have been touched and now I have no rev counter, no interior lights and no radio. There could also be more that i'm unaware of.
Does anybody have any idea what this could be?
I've already changed all the fuses in the fuse box and some around the egine, except the 7.5amp ones, they are coming.
Thanks.

???? There are no fuses around the engine. ALL the conventional fuses in an E30, except one, are in the fusebox.Stevieabz wrote:

Assuming you have an early E30 (Age and model always helps!), fuse 21, 7.5A is blown.
For some reason when I got her she had two batteries. One in the front and one in the back. I had a mechanic take out the front one. There is now a 30amp fuse there. That is the one I changed. The car is from 1896 and is a 325i sport M-Tech 1.
Waiting on 20 7.5amp fuses, that should fix it.
Thanks again.

We worked that out some time ago, but only early E30s (up to about '88) have the light fed by fuse 21. On later cars, in spite of the colours of the wires, and what it continues to say on the 'fuse' page of the handbook, the glovebox light is fed from fuse 4, the ignition switched supply for the indicators.sweep wrote:Glovebox light wires
