Is there any advantage of fitting aero wipers, considering the windscreen of the E30 is not "flat", as it normally is on those cars that come with aero wipers as standard?

The price difference is not huge, but generally has anyone noticed any benefits of aero wipers?

They claim to clean better and cause less noise....Really?

Your thoughts :)

They don't sit on my windscreen fully.

Worked great on my Impreza though, definitely quieter than the normal ones I replaced

I can 100% recommend them! I have them on both my BMW and My Corsa and I won't go back to normal blades!

The only thing I've noticed is my nearside wiper doesn't contact the whole screen when it's in the park position but it clears the screen as it starts travelling up the screen so it's all good :thumb:

Yup, same here but it's not a problem. I actually just bought some new 'normal' wiper blades for my touring to replace the aero blades the previous owner fitted - the new blades were shite, so I've refitted the old aero blades!

As Gert says though, they don't suit the E30 at all!

Agree they sit too high on the windscreen, Aero wipers do work great but just dont look right on the e30. I fitted a set of Bosch ones to my e30.

I fitted some to the track car because they had washer jets built in, and id got a GRP bonnet so had to relocate them. No noticeable improvement over standard Bosch blades I have on the road car

Partly true, except with HIDs you stop others from seeing where they're going...

That's of course unless you have it set up properly at the correct level, which is rarely done.
