A paddle clutch is for rally/drift type abuse, or where the engine produces a lot of torque ie a turbo instalation.
Is this a road car? if so stick with a standard clutch. It is more than capable of holding the torque of a 2.7, even one with a mighty piper cam in it. A paddle clutch is nasty to drive on the road in traffic, its like a switch, you will have about 5mm between fully off to fully engaged.
However if you spend your life sideways in a high powered car then its what you need.

Well there are various different ones on the market, and something with a sprung centered friction plate would help, some are more harsh than others, rule of thumb is the fewer friction pucks the more harsh it will be.
I still wouldn't have one in a mildly tuned road car , it works, but its the wrong part for the job.
Will, you got 6 point harness' in your "vert"?
They are a pain in the ar5e too, unless you are using them for what they are designed.
