Hi Guys,

I was trying to make the engine bay a little neater and pulled this wire out by mistake. :(
Any ideas where it should be plugged into?
Car E30 M3 1988

Looks like the A/C compressor power wire.

Could be from the pressure switch or headlights, whats with all the cable ties?

Because Motorsport :)

Any clues on the colour of the wire ? I 'm guessing the car is a bit / lot molested, that could make it tricky :(

its on the same wiring loom as the screen wash pump and screen wash level indicator if this helps.

That looks like one of the individual wires that plugs into one of the wiring connectors example would be grey/white/yellow plugs for lights or possibly one for that side horn? And another one could be wiring connector for heated washer jets?

If everything works as it should leave it alone?

Just worried it could be a sensor of some sort that will bite me later.
Could it be the headlight washer wire which I do not have?

Checking the wire colour would be a good start to identifying it

The wire is black. Hope this helps.
