One way or another I need to move the e30 on. It was bought to strip and convert into a track/race car but life got in the way!
The carpet has been taken out and that's as far as I got. It has been dry stored for 3 years.
The best bit is the black leather sport interior, but prices for cars and sought after parts seem to have moved on considerably the car was put away.
It has horrible aftermarket wheels on wobbly bolts.
How can I release the most cash from the car for the least effort? Is it a desirable model?
I'll post some pics shortly.

"Most cash from the lest amount of effort put in"
Sell it as a whole and let someone else restore it.
If it's in good enough shape..?

He is just stating the obvious . Before you go spending loads of money buying parts , be sure to have a VERY THOROUGH dig. That to me , looks like a molested very rusty rough old pig and unless you have very deep pockets and like welding, it's a breaker .

No sorry mate I was of the opinion that it's a holy grail real sport but it seems unlikely and IF it is a sport the kit is missing thus only thing of any value would be the LSD.

It's Pete's way of saying the car is most likely to be scapped
Ton be honest there mate, I personally would sell as many parts off it as you can and get the shell weighed in.
Pete would probably buy the kidney grill himself

As said above, just break as much as you can starting with the £££ items such as the interior, the engine, front suspension legs and rear subframe / trailing arms then depending on whether it's worth your while either continue dismantling or just weigh it in.

Be sure to take lots of rust pics before weighing it in. The rust stains from the bulkhead (both sides) look promising

Is that James, Toby or Steve?sweep wrote:There is someone on ebay wanting mtech 1 cars dead or alive.
With regard to this car, I would refit the carpet (you still have it?), spend half a day cleaning, polishing and touching up scabs with black Hammerite and stick it on ebay as a 325i that needs work.
I'd almost put money on you getting over a grand for it.
Unless it has an LSD, there are perhaps a grands worth of bits there. Selling complete is the easiest way to achieve £1000.
