Read on some site last night that a E90 steering shaft can be used for a m52 swap.
Can't remember what site it was now as was falling asleep :)
Has anyone tried one of these?
It's an adjustable shaft but don't know if splines are the same.
Might buy one to try if no one has tried yet.

By looks of it the e90 shaft is too long, possibly could be cut and re-welded.

Why bother? Either buy Dans linkage or 15mins work to swap an E30 UJ onto a Corsa linkage and job jobbed.

Just bought a corsa c linkage and have my old manual rack linkage to butcher.
How do you swap the top e30 joint for the lower corsa one?
Can only find it says use a punch and hammer.

Im removing a corsa linkage from an M52 conversion at the moment if you want to do a straight swap for your standard linkage John?

I've used an old manual linkage I had lying around Dan but I'll try to get up and swap mine for the e30 one and I send it to you.
Would rather trust your handy work than mine :)
Just deciding Wether to keep the ews or get it removed when mapped, had a ecu come with the engine but bought a full set with chip etc anyway.
what's your opinion?

I'd get the EWS removed if it's a track car that gets safely locked away when not used.
I keep the EWS if it's a daily car... every bit of security helps.

Just going to be my summer/ track fun car.
Detachable steering wheel and probably a decent alarm on the cards anyway.
I'll send Dan a pm for Ews removal and map for m50 inlet :)
