The car is tonced up piece of sh1t . That is a FACT, not an opinion. Recently purchased for Ca 12k, subjected to commercial vehicle quality paint job / lob up and quickly put back on the market. The chancer tried high twenties but has been gradually reducing it as he has had no bites. Viewing the car will make it obvious why.

I've seen this car being advertised, for a long time as well, Pete knows his stuff, I wouldn't go near it, personally.

Tells you all about the seller. How hard is it to fit some fog lights and fit the under dash cover properly with the correct plastic screws.

Thank crunchy for this thread.. I can stop staring at the advert now and wondering.. Sounds like it would have been a good buy at 12-13k for someone to restore and keep though (or, I guess, restore properly and sell on)?pacerpete wrote:The car is tonced up piece of sh1t . Only looks good from a distance lol.Gert_8 wrote:So, give us the details, then.M-Sport wrote:I've been down to view it
Went down with a friend and was shown this pile of crap, paintwork was shite, lots of ripples all over especially on roof.
Engine bay was a mess but biggest bodge was a massive rust hole on flitch below batt tray which had been plated from wheel arch side, near side also had some bodgery lol.
Was more but think I will be here a while typing.
Seller started to show me pictures of resto stating its a had a 5k spent on it lol, I actually said you must be joking.
Some of the rust was epic and the Bodgery work to tart it up was just mind blowing all clearly shown in his pics.
I didn't even bother starting or even sitting in it.
It really needs stripping right back and doing all over again.
Probably worth the original 13-14k It was up for as will need lots of time and money to put it right again.

The last time I saw that car it was the most rotten e30 I've seen the ecu was In a plastic bag and that was about 3 months ago, everything was rotten the sunroof was gaffer taped so it didn't leak, both doors the floors the bulkhead the back panel it was hanging and by the looks of it it has just been filled with fiberglass and filler, oh and it didn't run properly properly because every air pipe was held together with silver gaffer tape and the ecu was swimming!!
