Hi all
I have just started having an issue with my Consumption gauge that also seems to be associated with the SI lights.
The consumption needle remains at full left deflection until the rpm gets to 3000 then it moves to full right. It is either full deflection left or right with nothing inbetween.
Coincidentally the SI lights remain on (4green) after engine start until 3000 rpm when they go off? If i dont get to 3000rpm they stay on all the time.
It has all been working fine and seems to have just started this.
Ive tried the disconnecting battery etc but could it be the SI board battery issue?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Mine is exactly the same and was fine before. I would also be keen to hear a solution

SI Board Batteries need replacing, just modified mine so they are on the outside of the instrument cluster also saves possible damage to the printed circuit board by using to much heat and melting the silver strips on the board.

I've replaced the SI batteries and the Econometer is still acting the same.
The SI indicators are now on 5 green bars after I reset them.
Any ideas gratefully received, thanks

Oh, and now the SI green lights are on again (the 4 on the right this time when it used to be the 4 on the left).
I measured the voltage of the new batteries as 3.2v each, half AA lithium type. Is this a bit low? have I been sold old duff ones perhaps?
