Just wondering what sort of power everyone else is getting from their M52B28's?

All I have to go on is that the speedo will see 3 figures on the straightest bit of Blyton Park. Which ain't very long, given that it's a 1.6 mile circuit with 9 'official' corners :)

They are crazy engines for what they are.

Had mine on the roller on Friday, exhaust is blowing slightly and it has a small fuel leak

20c ambient temperature in the workshop and it pulled 222.2 at the wheel.

I'm in love with the way it drives, what gearbox are you using?

Thank you! But i can't help but think with some proper fine tuning and sorting of my small issues and colder day it would increase my figure, i know not by much, but i am really intrigued

ZF 5-speed from the 328i donor car through a 3.15 Z3M LSD. Not been re-mapped, but using a lightened M20 flywheel/clutch, M50 inlet, standard 325i manifold-back system. No interior, carpets or sound deadening though.

Nice! Mines been mapped, but it was generic and not done on a road. How does it fair on economy with the 328 box?

It's a bit revvy on the motorway tbh, about 3000rpm at 70mph. But I reckon I get high 20's-low 30's on a steady run (60-70mph). Save fuel for the track!

Track work is deffo single figures. About 9mpg last time out by my rough estimation.

Hopefully going to borrow a re-mapped ECU next time out winkeye

Nice! I don't really know what mine is like, in need of a 6 pot coding plug to get a true figure on the revs
