Hi,

I've got old fuel in my car and am looking to drain it. Is there a drain plug on the fuel tank?

Also I was going to change oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, plugs and coolant as car has been stood for years. Is there anything else I need to change/check?

Cheers

There should be a drain plug on an original tank....but I have yet to find one that is happy to un-screw!

Cambelt swap is a 'must do' before attempting to start an engine that has been sleeping for a while, water pump whilst you have the front of the engine in bits is also a very good

Easier to just bridge the fuel pump relay and pump it out

Thanks both. I guess the drivebelt is worth changing too.
