Whats the best drop for a prefacelift 320i. Would it look odd 40/40 ? I'm reluctant to go 60mm due to the nature of Barbados roads so anyone with a 40/40 or 40/35 drop have any pics for reference?

My old 320 was quite low all round on old springs. I've dropped the front of my 318i with M52 30mm as was quite high, I kept rear standard for carrying loads. Looks pretty good and still useable. How low is your car at the moment?

Nothing wrong with Bajan roads, although when I was there , we were using an Escalade.. :D

40/40 drop would be fine, maybe a bit risky when you go into the "Township" areas.

Rav you need to see the roads now , the road on the coast is ridiculous.. you dodge two bumps but wont miss the 3rd . I wouldnt risk a 60mm here at all unless i drive really slow. Come on , who drives a 6 cyl E30 at snail's pace?
bosers i'm not even sure of the drop now , the springs are some unknown budget brand and the shocks need changing.

Fair enough mate, i wouldn't lower if I didn't have smooth tarmac to buzz about on.

I remember the highway roads to be smooth, and round St Lawrence Gap, and some in Bridgetown were really Bad 8O

Highways are alright , but cruising the coasts is a pain sometimes.
I'll take a risk on 40/40 and see how that goes
