Hi guys
Need your input. Looks like my 325i has a blown head. In the coolant there is milky residue however in the oil there is no milky residue. Im thinking the worst and its a headgasket blown. Am I right? Could this be anything else? I dont have time or patience to do it myself. So how much should it cost me?

Im not sure if coolant has been mixed as I just bought the car last week. Could mixing the cooland cause milky residue?

If you mix green/blue and red coolant then it can produce a funny sludge.

Does your residue look like milkshake?

Do you have any residue under the oil filler cap? It seems unusual for there to be contamination of the coolant and not in the oil as the coolant is under greater pressure than the oil at the location the heads crack.
Unless of course the oil is getting into the coolant at the head gasket where the oil us under main gallery pressure.

These things to tend to cause cross contamination though so both fluids should have residue in if you check/take the rocker cover off.

Looks like creamy shake. But no residue on oil cap or dipstick.

Might just be lack of use, and/or short runs causing condensation.

Keep an eye on the oil and coolant levels and temp gauge and give it a good run

Flush the antifreeze through, get rid of the sludge and run the vehicle and see what happens first before assuming the worst.
