Car is deadlocked and cant get the drivers door lock to turn.
It is in the deadlock position.
Can only open boot .
howdo i get the drivers door open again ?

had a problem with a 325 like this a few weeks ago
if you turn the key to the unlock position (you will have to force it but be carefull not to break the key) while lifting up the handle the door should open you can then remove the door panel and release the soleniod which i presume has burnt out in the deadlock position
i found the reason for this happening was a corroded connection in the drivers A pillar plug
the plug pins were cleaned and a new locking relay and solenoids fitted
(this car burnt out 2 doors and filler flap) and car has had no problems since
