Hello,
Yesterday, i lift up my front right of my car because when i drive through bumpy road and evenly brake my car i hear knocking in front near my foot and feel rebound spring.
I try move it horizontal and no play
I try to move the tire with my hand up and down and i feel that the spring a bit lost contact with the top support and play.
Does it is normally with hanging tire the spring likely lost contact with support? Or my spring has weak?
Thank you
Markus

Get an automotive stethoscope, & put it on the strut housing, you should be able to hear if you've got any problems, in that area.

If its the top mounts then bouncing the car up and down from above while looking at the top mount (or with your finger between the damper shaft and the top of the topmount) you should be able to see/hear/feel some play.
Under the plastic cap you can see the bearing and damper shaft.
Otherwise the lower ball joints can cause a knock.
Even if the spring can dislocate on full droop of the suspension you would only get a knock on the road if the wheel was fully off the ground. If so stop doing this:

The top mount should swivel when the road wheel is moved around it's axis....

Only if the spring is dead.
If you need to do the top mount then do both (for handling consistency and if ones gone the others not far behind), when you have both springs off check the free length of the springs, if one has fractured or collapsed then it should be obvious in the length difference.

I always feel that my both of spring is weak it feel that if i drive the bumpy road it feel so loose in the front likely my spring not have power to support, not rigid.
And my shock life is too short, may be because of the weak spring that has 24 years old?
Then is it time to spring change?

Both side has same high and the gap between wheel and fender is about 9 centimeters. But 24 year ago when i drive my friend's car brand new from show room i feel it more rigid and stiff. But my car is feel so soft and if i pass the hole the tire and steer feel goes everywhere.
I got my car from second hand so i'm not sure about the spring but i always use bilstein and boge oem.
