Hi all,

What's the best type of coolant I can use for my 325? Currently it has red in it, which the bmw specialist put in it. But I've been told it should be blue, other have said used prestone green.

Anybody clear this up?

Cheers

Use blue,

red is for more modern stuff and has something in it that old cars don't like!

As far as I'm aware red is meant to be extra long life coolant (5 years or so), but I don't see the point when I will be changing it every two years!
