Hi,

Can fuel hard lines be made from the kunifer brake pipe spec ? Anyone done this or am I being a Scrooge?

Also the fabric coated pipe that runs under the cover in the drivers wheelarch, can that just be replaced with regular rubber hose (fuel grade type )

Had a price scare.... (£111) Wondered if there was a way around it

The fabric covered hose is a very rare size, I tried to find it and couldn't, I tried a slightly different size but it wouldn't fit. Its only about £20 from the dealer

Ive used aluminium fuel tube before but you need the correct tool to flare the end where the hose joins

I've got a brake flare tool, would that fit the bill ?

Tried getting a price from Cotswolds, I thought it was no. 5 here

I recently replaced both hard fuel lines and all the clips and the total was £108 from my local dealer, they were happy to price match Cotswold.

For £108 I got both pipes, the plastic clips which fix to the underside of the floor, the metal caps and plastic holders which are spaced at random intervals. All available from my local dealer or in fact any other I would assume, they had to order it in.
