Hi All, my Si batteries are due for renewing for the first time it has Ni-cd fitted should i change like for like or can i fit Ni MH, thank in advance

That whole bit in the wiki was lifted from one of my posts years ago, and the batteries are still available from CPC at only a slightly higher price. There used to be a 2/3 length AA NiMH available, which was a better replacement, but this has disappeared from the catalogue.
Note that you can't use lithium batteries in place of NiCd/NiMH ones and vice versa.
