I have a late 1989 325i pre facelift chrome bumper cab and want to replace the prop coupling whist replacing the clutch.
RealOEM states its 26121226723, but some couplings for sale state they cover both convertible models 87-89 and 89-93 (pre and post facelift), I read on this forum that the coupling changed on facelift cars.

The pre 87 part number is 26121225152.
Any idea which would be correct?

I've read that Meyle ones are rubbish...
When I did mine, I bought Febi (part number 02823). As far as I know, Febi is used by many manufacturers as a genuine supplier, so can't go wrong with them.

Also a good idea to replace your guibo, gearbox mounts + seals and the linkage, while you're doing the clutch.
