Thinking of getting a rear h&r anti roll bar for the e30 just wanted thoughts on this have anyone else got one? If so how much stiffer do they make the rear

Put some proper wheels / tyres on your car. That will make much more difference than thicker roll bars !

Mines got H&R front and rear, handles well but that might be due to genuine springs and a full make over with oem bushes etc.

Currently running the standard 15"bbs with toyo proxy tyres got h&r cup kit suspension it's fully polly bushed front and rear but my only trouble is when changing direction at speed like accelerating round a roundabout then Turing left the rear feels very wollowey and not planted so just trying to minimise the rear body roll

Moving the front drop link to the strut massively improves body roll for a fraction of the price while also improving the rear

Possibly just your rear ARB links and bushes are knackered? Also going for 16" with lower profile tyres might help.

I looked into it, have seen people using collars like some coil overs use, although welding a tab onto the strut would be just as easy.heathy325 wrote:Ye info please I've never heard this before
Remember, thicker ARB's reduce grip on the axle they are fitted to, use them for tuning handling balance

I changed my rear subframe bushes, helped a lot with handling. Getting a front strut brace soon, hopefully that'll improve it even more!

rear bar doesn't do much an uprated front bar will help a lot though.

It's the rear that's rolling under hard direction change!!

Yes as said it's not my idea just copied the m3 setup! I rally an e30 with s50 m3 engine and I have spent 2years developing the handling and suspension, simply moving the anti roll bar links from the lower wishbone standard position to the strut housing directly overhead solved the sloppy body roll front and back, granted I did poly bush all round but after playing round with various suspension setups and spring rates this was the best improvement. Your are basically doubling the rate of the standard one for free.....
