Cabby Interior
Moderator: martauto
So after a lot of research and umming and aahhhing I have finally committed to replacing my interior...
Costing more than I wanted to pay due to the specific colour red leather I chose but I think it will be worth it...
I am doing the seats and door cards in red leather (currently cardinal red) and will most likely get the consoles and dash done later in black leather with red stitching...
I will be looking at possibly supplying front door cards in leather so if anyone is interested let me know...+-£300 for both...

Ok...so I was not happy with the quotes I was getting to redo my interior so I started researching...
After a lot of time and effort I have come to an arrangement with a company to supply me with the covers for my seats and door cards...the downside being that they will need to be fitted. As I see my car as an on going project I do not mind attempting this myself...
The upside is the price...so if the quality / workmanship is as good as I expect then I will be able to start supplying these "Kits" in UK...

I paid 700 to get beige leather interior repaired and then dyed cardinal including door cards and plastic lower panels in a convertible, then removed vinyl cover on horseshoe so that it was colour coded with the car. Job done.
although getting a reasonably tidy beige leather interior I difficult.
Alternatively you can get all of the seats recovered in the appropriate colour, but I think this would be more like 1500-2000.

Here you go, will see if I can find some before pictures too. The interior was worn, but not excessively I.e no large holes etc
Gavla,
That's fair enough mate, It is a lot and I often think to myself if it's worth it!
The interior is going into a Project car I'm doing at the mo, should have some pics up in the coming weeks or month or so of the finished article.
All the best with your search mate.
