Brake fitting parts.

Doing a bit of brake pipe work and I have noticed that some of the little hoops that locate the flexis are mild steel and some are stainless.
Which material did BMW use?
Where can I get the stainless ones if not available from BMW?

"Little hoops" should be spring steel, and are readily available from BMW at about 60p each (the last time I bought a batch, and IIRC).
I have never seen a stainless version, but also would be interested if anyone knows a source.

I have a picture of the stainless clips but cannot post it.
