Hi Guys
Need some help please.
Im putting on some 16" alloys on my '88 325i 2 door (currently on 17").
The Alloys are 4x100 PCD, 16*8 with Offset ET25 and centre bore 73.1.
First question: will spigot rings, 73.1 - 57.1 do the job? any particular ones or shall I get any off ebay. Plastic or Aluminium?.
Second question, best tyre size. my arches have been flared so want them filled. I was thinking 225/55/16, any thoughts?
Weekend street use, not track days.
Thanks

You'll need 5mm spacers to clear the brake calipers on the front, the rears will be fine.

For tyres, 225/45/16 is a good choice.

Re hub rings, just any plastic ones off Ebay will do.

the 5mm spacers on the front, is that because of tyre size or the offset?
or is it better to get 205's on the front?
BTW, I will be lowering the car. so don't wana be touching arches.
Thanks ZD

The offset.

205's won't make a difference, because it's the wheel that goes too far in.

You should be ok with stock or sports height, but if you go lower, then you may have rubbing issues with that setup.
