I have a manual roof and my horse shoe has stopped "locking" close...
I am stumped...due to my inability to understand such technicalities...
Any help would be greatly appreciated...thank you

@ daimlerman yes, the problem are the latches not the roof
@ diable yes, all clean etc...as you know I am South African not Jewish...
The only way I can explain what is happening is that when you push the horse shoe closed their are to "brackets on the horse shoe on either side that are supposed to "lock" into 2 corresponding latches...the door handle pull releases these latches when you need to open the horse shoe...the latches do not seem to be doing what they should do as no matter how hard I push down on the horse shoe, nothing happens...

OK,assuming that the roof is stowed properly....only mention this because mine needs help....with the roof in the box have you tried to trigger the catches that the horseshoe latches onto?
I'm thinking that maybe the catch is stiff and needs cleaning/lubricating.

Yes, and this is the problem...the catch is not working as it should...it does not seem stiff as I can easily flip it forward and when you pull the handle it releases backwards...

Does the horseshoe lock down properly with the hood erect?
