Hi chaps,
I'm looking to choose an exhaust rear silencer for my 325i touring and would like to go with the oem BMW unit but I intend to store the car for the winter months each year and don't want to allow the acidic moisture to rot it quickly due to storage. For that reason I'm considering a cheaper eurocarparts unit instead.
Is there a way of making sure the rear silencer is free of moisture prior to storage or should I go with the cheaper unit and put up with replacing it regularly?
Thanks for any advice.

About the only way you can do it is to put it away after a really good run with the whole exhaust hot and then not run it for short periods of time.
Something that is almost impossible to do.
Your only other option may be a stainless exhaust.
