Depends also on the engine size m8, if its a 320 that your talking about then it would prolly go for less than the 325, and the 325 seems to hold their value more too on the back end of yer purchase :)

In terms of value, it seems 325i cabs are worth the most, followed by 318i cabs with the 320i being the cheapest.

I would guess this is because the 318i is more insurance-friendly and doesn't waste petrol either

If it's a 320i cab then Ԛ£3k at the most perhaps? Depends on the extras as well really.

Insurance groups mean nothing these days - I can happily insure a car in group 12 but when calling my insurance company regarding a car in the same insurance group I'm told they can't insure it until I'm 21.

Best thing to do is to get a few quote before buying to see if you can afford/justify the insurance cost.

325i is the better buy, specially as the cab is heavier than its 2 door counterparts, you need the extra oomph to push that weight around. I've seen cabs go for Ԛ£4500-5000 in autotrader and they were 325i. You can virtually but a cab for any price just depends on the condition exterior and interior. Watch out for the insurance on a 325 cab, think they are group 17-18.

that looks pretty good, just check all the panels line up correctly, the boot strut and bonnet strut work, i.e. it stays up. Check all eletrics work, when you turn the iginition on, make sure all the lights illuminate as they should, in particular ABS one as some people tend to remove the bulb for it if the ABS is a little dodgy. Ad says its a Tech 2 kit on, thats a lie because the front bumper isn't a tech 2 but a standard one, rear spoiler, door pods and rear bumper seem to be present however. Make sure the hood is in good condition, they are expensive to replace, also as its eletric make sure it works properly! Can't think of anything else at the mo.

as Gouki says CHECK THE HOOD...if it works properly its not that bad ...a 325 for a bit more would be a lot better

Hi

Any car when they reach this age are worth what you are prepared to pay

Re E30 cabs lots out there good and bad

Regards value many people are overpricing cabs at present and they can be found from 1000 to 8000 so wheres the sense in that

Understand some of the rare models if people want to pay but get good advice first

Contact the BMW CC if you are a member, or see website

Cheers

Nice looking CAB, though i dont know about the stance, looks as though the back ends a bit to low for the front... 60/60 should be a 60/40 in cab IMO

TBH i would go a bit older and go for a 325.. just my opinion, your love the power, sound more and it will hold its price longer..

just my two cents

GJ your after a e30 CAB m8 but just take a while looking around and im sure your find a decent 325 example for that money.. :)

unless your specificaly after a 320 of course

You guys don't know how lucky you are. BMW Cabrios over here are much more expensive. Too bad most of yours are in right hand drive or I would definately be shopping over there for one of those sweet M Techniks.
Enjoy!

Jim

May be cheap in Germany to buy...but we still need to add $5k to ship and import duties / taxes.
Cheers,
