its got lightish steering and clutch plus loads of torque so its easy to drive and cruises well at any speed. they like the power! shes an auto snob now with the B3 but this is fighting the manual corner!

iirc it's a yaw sensor/connector for the EDC system.

just got back from the ring in this. Epic trip as always and the M5 was all the car you could want considering our situation as poor barold ended up carless so we ended up being 4 up in the e34 and boot full to the brim.
A real test for it to proove its capabilities

Pre trip wash so she was shiney for all the unexpected love fellow ringers gave her!

Along with the wash some last minute prep a new fan clutch and some EBC yellow rears to join the fronts. Shes a heavy car you know.......
Plus ive tracked a decent drivers door also, thanks to M-sport for that also

A nice bit burger and steak first night

"some" more than others. In the resturant.............................

In the brauhaus also
. He then slept for the next 36 hours

resting between laps the tyres were struggling somewhat!

Rolypoly is my new name for her! Such fun, brakes, suspension, engine great. Especially that engine, what a noise. Tyres not so, some track tyres would of meant a world of difference and added some serious extra corner speed. The lean i can handle! That all said it was epic fun and such a fantastic chassis in its stock form and so forgiving/adjustable on the limit of grip.

A quick shot with some herberts tagging of the bridge before we left for home today

AUTOBAHN
gps verified.

And lots of nurbugs on my car bit like the ring taxi. Which was the only other M5 there. One other F10 M5 hit the barrier and was towed off and i didn't see another e34 lapping. I had several thumbs up and positive comments from fellow lappers and people in the car park. The love is still out there for e34's. It there and back in comfort it did that, was hilarious at points round the track and cracked out a 152mph on the autobahn fully loaded so there really isn't much to dislike about it.
S38 FTW

Nice pics, looks like you had some wiper lift at 152mph lol,
What other cars went then? Shame Barry's M3 never made it would have been an epic M/// power convoy!

My wiper rack is sooooooo foooked. It lifts at motorway speeds let alone the 130mph plus she pulled around the ring in certain sections.
Only Henrys E30 came that really lapped and aquitted itself very very well. A quick E30 M52 - kept with the M5 in the straight sections no problem and positively outgunned it in the corners. Respect
Awaiting Henrys Vids of the proof.

On the wiper rack: E34 ones are almost all furcked now and the 535i/540i/M5 have a special one with the auto tensioned drivers arm. But The E32's have that as well, the racks never wear out and they look almost identical. I wonder if they can be made to fit?

Very courteous driving. Its nice to see two drivers using the mirrors whilst still making good progress.
Henry, I bet your arse was twitching a bit with that A1 though!
